The Mystery of Tongues

Beloved, Genesis 1:2 says the earth was without form and void, yet the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Notice, He did not wait for order before He moved. He moved because there was disorder. The Holy Ghost is the Specialist in the midst of chaos. When everything looks scattered and life feels formless, void and darkness covers the deep - He is already moving. The Holy Ghost is not intimidated by confusion or confused by our confusions, rather, He specializes in messy beginnings and in glorious endings. Before God said, “Let there be light,” the Spirit was already working behind the scenes. That means even if you cannot see results yet, God is arranging things in the unseen. This means that your chaos is not a conclusion but a construction site. Is it the case of financial, family tension or ministerial uncertainties? He hovers until transformation happens. What looks like disorder is often divine reordering and what appears like confusion is often preparation for creation. Beloved, don’t panic in chaos; pray in mysteries - invite the Spirit and Pray in the Spirit. What you can’t articulate, the Spirit can legislate. The devil understands your fear, but he cannot interpret your tongues. Chaos bows to a believer who knows how to pray beyond understanding.
